Enforcement Procedures

Once a judgment has been granted there are a number of enforcement methods. If the amount is above £5000, then the matter can be transferred upto the High Court and attracts interest at a rate of 8%.

If there is any doubt as to the debtors assets it is possible to request an oral examination by a court officer at the local court, whereby it is possible for us to attend to ascertain what assets are available.

County court enforcement options include:-

  • Bailiff
  • Garnishee order (3rd party order)
  • Charging order
  • Attachment of earnings

        High Court options:-

  • Sheriff

        Overseas enforcement options:-

  • European Enforcement Order

We can also handle matters which move towards the following orders:-

  • Administration orders, Insolvency,
  • IVA (Independant voluntary arrangement),
  • CVA (company voluntary arrangement), administration and receivership.
